The Brown Decade Hits Hard In This Vinings Contempo

New, 5 comments

The late '70s aren't remembered as the brightest times in America, and the real estate from that period seems to prove this point. For a textbook example, check out this dreary brown contemporary that's "entry level" priced at $479,000 in southern Vinings. Those suffering from Seasonal Affect Disorder need not apply; the cave-like atmosphere is off the charts in this place. Anyone with the slightest interest in cooking is bound to come away similarly depressed, as the kitchen seems more suited for a basement suite than an almost half million dollar home. Redecorating and oodles of light paint would certainly help, but there's only so far you can go with cosmetic fixes. It seems like this house may just need to be put out of its misery.
