For condo shoppers on the fence about whether "sleek" is preferable to "raw," this two-bedroom unit at the Tribute Lofts could be the happy medium. With all the hullabaloo about new multi-family construction in the Old Fourth Ward, this award-winning 2007 building sometimes gets lost in the mix. The uniqueness of the exterior architecture bleeds inside, too, with units that are distinct but might feel a little cinderblocky for some buyers. This corner unit is relatively roomy at 1,306 square feet, with 10-foot ceilings, plentiful natural light and walk-in closests in both bedrooms. Views are killer from the rooftop pool deck, and elsewhere on site there's an oversized chessboard, for what that's worth. The property fronts Boulevard (curious that street is not mentioned in the address) but it's connected to the Freedom Parkway PATH, which links to its Beltline cousin just down the way. Much of this building was auctioned off in the heart of the Deep Dark Recession, but this pad could still be a good deal at $220,000.
