A development team envisions about 150 townhomes, greenspaces, offices and possibly restaurant space for the state-owned Pullman Yard property in Kirkwood, a derelict 26-acre site that's rich with historical character. The Kirkwood Neighborhood Organization heard the team's plans and voted to support their efforts during the same meeting last week, with two conditions: keep the historical buildings, if possible, and don't build apartments. At least one other group, Atlanta ContactPoint, also has a vision for the property: turning it into a sports complex. [Decaturish]
