In the course of a few months, the New York Times has drastically changed its opinion of Atlanta, first calling our city the poverty-stricken "Sultan of Sprawl" and now "Where Everybody Must Visit in 2014." Kidding aside, the Times acknowledges the most notable ribbon-cuttings on tap for downtown Atlanta in 2014 by placing the "revitalized city center" at No. 40 on a list of 52 crucial places to visit. It's a list worth seeing, if only for the stunning photography. [NYT]
