In a thought-provoking op-ed, Charles Whatley, managing director of UrbanIS USA, advocates for public-private partnerships as a means to get things done in Atlanta. In Whatley's view, it's high time for the Atlanta region to "start to consider cooperative ways to finance and deliver lifeline infrastructure projects." To drive the message home, he points to booming Toronto, which has "over 140 buildings of 30-stories or more under construction — right now," he alleges. [Saporta Report]
