Bleeding-heart Atlanta sentimentalists should get a kick out of a Saporta Report interview with actor Tom Key, longtime artistic director of Theatrical Outfit. Back in the '80s, Key was offered a dream job in America's theatre Mecca, New York City, but opted for Atlanta. Why? "I loved the literature of this part of the world, I love the music in this part of the world, the food, the people, the graciousness of this city, particularly the way Atlanta had responded to the civil rights crisis."
