Regent Partners, the Atlanta developers responsible for projects such as Tower Place in Buckhead, have proposed a new mixed-use project next to Buckhead's MARTA station. The development would put 300 apartments, 50 condos, 9,500 square feet of retail space and a 550,000 square feet of offices onto the site, which is currently a parking lot bounded by GA-400 and Tower Place Drive, just off Peachtree Road behind the One Capital City Plaza tower. The hope is that the project's proximity and easy access (via pedestrian bridge) to MARTA would make it an attractive choice for corporate offices. [Atlanta Business Chronicle]
