How Modern-Style Duplexes in Reynoldstown Were Born

New, 5 comments

Last we checked on a pair of modern duplexes called the "Reynoldstown Four," they were merely blueprints. But after construction began on Cleveland Avenue in Reynoldstown last spring, the Environs Residential project is almost finished, and it could represent a growing trend of intown duplexes. "I think they're notable in being modern residences that came in under $400,000," writes a buyer named Andreas, who'll be moving into residence #147 later this month. Andreas documented construction progress and says the BC-DC-designed project takes cues from a modern tri-plex project from the same architect called Lincoln Three. Records indicate that at least one of the homes went for $339,000 and that each is already sold. The listings touted Beltline proximity (roughly half a mile), three bedrooms, two and ½ bathrooms, fenced back yards and gated parking.
