Now here's a novel idea: A developer who has no immediate plans to build something on a prominent Westside corner wants to transform the space into an open-air art gallery for now, to feature both local and international artists. George Rohrig of Cartel Properties tells Bisnow the concept — set for the corner of Howell Mill Road and 10th Street, between Chow Baby and The Optimist — seemed "cool," so he's filed for permits to clean up the site.
