The owner of an old Peachtree Road shopping center badly damaged by fire last year says it should be demolished in the next two months, to be replaced by a grassy patch of land for the foreseeable future. The strip center housed the Garden Hills Cinema art theater, Flemings custom leather goods, Cacao chocolatiers and other retailers, until an accidental fire that originated at Peachtree Bikes rendered the structures a total loss in the eyes of insurers. Restaurants La Fonda and Fellini's will remain. [BuckheadView]
