The historic M. Rich Building has scored a high-tech "code school" as a tenant, marking another feather in downtown's cap of entrepreneurial hubs. The Iron Yard will leave Buckhead's Atlanta Tech Village (where it's currently the largest tenant) to inhabit 11,000 square feet downtown, joining the fact-gathering wizards at Creative Loafing in the restored former department store. A few blocks away, an investor recently bought the 117-year-old Flatiron Building (for a paltry $2 million) for conversion into another hive for enterprisers. [ABC]
