With the current bout of cold weather, the world has been quick to jump on the series of unfortunate, icy events that unfolded in Atlanta last winter. In an AP article, Transportation Commissioner Keith Golden indicates that we're more prepared than we were last year, with $14 million slated for winter weather equipment and supplies. Even if things go off without a hitch this season, we probably aren't going to live Snowpocalypse down any time soon, and Atlanta could forever be the poster child of how to freak out and fail when faced with a daunting two inches.
