$299K Condo Overlooking Centennial is 'Walker's Paradise'

New, 4 comments

Finally — a condo with bedroom views of Atlanta's most depressingly Brutalist library building! Or is that AmericasMart? Either way, it's not views of buildings that this two-bedroom, two-bathroom Museum Tower condo is touting. This corner unit has multi-directional vistas and a primo vantage over Centennial Olympic Park, which could either spell plentiful free concerts or extreme noise pollution. For the size (nearly 1,600 square feet), the unit is relatively cheap against others up the street in Midtown or in Beltline neighborhoods. With any leftover cash, a buyer might want to start fresh with some elements (see: the big, thick shower-door frame) of the bathrooms, especially. And $564 in HOA fees could be a bitter pill, although that provides for a rooftop pool and "every amenity imaginable," per the listing agent. The Walk Score of 90 certifies it a "Walker's Paradise," but the walkable options here might not be as enticing as other areas of town. Unless you can't live without that relatively dinky children's museum in the basement.
