Business Wire is reporting that the aptly named energy company NRG will be expanding their network of rapid electric vehicle charging stations to the Atlanta market. The new eVgo DC fast chargers can charge a car in as little as 30 minutes, a vast improvement over earlier charging options. The annoucement should electrify the two percent of Atlantans who drive EVs. [Atlanta]
