The controversial overhaul of Decatur's most tragically named shopping center, Suburban Plaza, is in full swing, and a bona fide tenant shake-up is afoot, Tomorrow's News Today reports. Stores such as Big Lots and Hancock Fabrics were originally slated to stay in business at the Selig Properties' development, but recent relocations and liquidation signs say different. The project, whose marquee tenants will include a giant Walmart Supercenter and LA Fitness, drew the ire of its neighbors east of downtown Decatur and was the subject of an ill-fated lawsuit.
