According to real estate website Zillow, Atlanta is straight-up crushing it when it comes to home values with numbers rising by 12.8 percent between November 2013 to November 2014, compared to 6.7 percent nationwide. Only Miami, at 13.6 percent, had a bigger increase in home value. The rise is expected to continue next year, but at a slower rate: an expected 4.2 percent year-on-year for Atlanta and 2.4 percent for the nation as a whole. [Zillow]
