MARTA's plan to build mixed-use transit-oriented developments (TOD) over some of its stations to boost ridership and revenue continues with the decision to move forward with a TOD at Oakland City station. The Oakland City plan was one of just five selected to move forward in 2015 after residents reviewed renderings this week and will be the only TOD project south of I-20. Others include Edgewood/Candler Park, Avondale, King Memorial, and Brookhaven stations, the first three of which already have development parters. [Creative Loafing]
