A building permit application indicates that Jamestown Properties will soon spend $690,000 to transform a former boxcar into a bar, and then place it on tracks discovered within concrete at the former Sears, Roebuck & Co. distribution center. Plans also call for a nifty deck area, all perched atop Ponce City Market's historic rail trestle that links to the Beltline. No word on a timeline, but hopefully this facet of PCM will open yesterday. [What Now Atlanta]
