Hefty Homes

A new report by USA Today indicates that Atlanta metro area is in the top five in the nation for massive homes. A combination of low density and high affordability results in the metro's appearance at number four on the list of cities with largest houses, behind Colorado Springs, Houston and Provo, Utah in the top spot. With a median home size of 1,872 square feet and a median price of $162,000, Atlanta turns out to be one of the most affordable places to buy a home in the country, with a price of just $86 per square foot.
