For $700K, A Loft In Under-the-Radar Midtown Building

New, 12 comments

Three bedrooms in Midtown, anyone? For $700K, this modern beauty on Spring Street will give its new owner 2,450 square feet, floor-to-ceiling windows and an address in the small-but-luxe MidCity Lofts development. At least one of the unit's four bathrooms is pretty high up on the Scale of Relatively Spacious Awesomeness, and potential buyers would also get a kitchen souped up with the latest accoutrements — including an eight-eye stove and one device we don't even recognize.

As far as the building goes, the mid-rise a few blocks north of Tech Square (and a few more south of 10th Street) offers a gym and rooftop pool. While we spy at least one concrete-ish pillar (and maybe part of a concrete ceiling?) in this unit, the property claims to "consciously avoid the urban loft cliche of exposed ductwork and conduit." The current owner, of course, would get the real deal — one listing says it was last purchased for just $210,000.
