Dan Uggla's Behemoth Buckhead Condo Asking $2.75M

New, 7 comments

Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla has put his massive Buckhead condo on the market, but don't get too excited baseball fans — He Of The Mighty Forearms And Diminuitive Batting Average ain't leaving town. Uggla's 4,595 square-foot crib takes up the entire top floor of the Terminus building, located on Piedmont Road just off Peachtree Road in the heart of Buckhead. Boasting "the largest private terrace of any condo in Atlanta" — which is truly impressive, even lacking a pool — it also features three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a $2.75-million price tag. As we all know, many uber-rich athletes have interior design philosophies prone to excess, but the Uggster doesn't appear to be one of them. His soon-to-be-former condo is enormous but well-executed. Like a fastball he actually hit.

As mentioned before, the offering probably doesn't go anywhere toward substantiating any of the Uggla trade rumors that have abounded this offseason. The 33-year-old tied the knot in December and is likely just moving the Missus into the even more ginormous Sandy Springs mansion he purchased in late 2012. The 14,000 square-foot sprawler on Riverview Road includes seven bedrooms, a putting green, a basketball court and a heated pool, and what appears to be a good-sized aquarium smack dab in the middle of the kitchen. Who knows if Ol' Uggs will cop another condo somewhere, but if he's thinking about it: May we suggest Cobb County?
