ATL Has A Fever, And The Only Prescription Is More Townhomes

New, 9 comments

From posh Buckhead to Decatur's industrial fringe, townhome fever is sweeping Atlanta, and now Oakhurst is getting in on the action. While "fever" might be hyperbolic, it's true that townhome projects are lending variety to the single-family and mass-apartment offerings the city's been favoring lately. This Oakhurst project, dubbed "Seven Twelve Oakview," is by Thrive Homes, builders of $1 million-plus Craftsmans in several of Atlanta's most desirable 'hoods. Renderings indicate there will be 15 townhomes, located just north of the Oakhurst Village and priced from the mid-$400,000s to nearly $600,000. Perks include two-car garages, 14-foot ceilings and optional rooftop party pads.
