Hotel development intown might be sporadic, but plans are in the works for two new lodges in the heart of the Perimeter. A group called Hotel Equities plans to break ground this year on a 124-key Residence Inn and 132-key Hampton Inn. State Farm's expansion plans for the area are largely driving the decision to build there, one official said.
