Why Is This Morningside Home Unsold? Why Isn't It Online?

New, 5 comments

This right here is a good-looking house. It sits on E. Rock Springs Road in Morningside-Lenox Park (with very desirable schools), has been dramatically remodeled since selling for a comparatively paltry $335,000 in 2011, and it's been on the market for a long time now. Possibly as long as three years. All the while the yard has looked impeccable. It may or may not have been a daycare at one point, and it's listed by a Realtor named Laurie Sikes for a company called Berkshire Enterprises (not Berkshire Hathaway). Our attempts to reach her have been fruitless. That's pretty much all we know. Like at least one commuter, we're stumped. There's no online listing, it's hard to find in property records and there's no clear indication of why such a home would go unsold for so dang long. Anyone out there know the backstory? Bueller?
