Soft Contemporary In Buckhead Seeks Cool $1.5 Million

New, 5 comments

Buried in trees between Northside Drive and Mount Paran Road, this 1988 soft contemporary occupies a quiet woodsy paradise in Buckhead. The 3.4-acre property is so appealing, in fact, the listing agent suggests the land alone is worth the $1.5 million asking price. Let's hope some Warbucks doesn't get the wrong idea and raze these gated, 2,955 square-feet of lite modern soul. The home seems to have a good airy flow, with a wide-open kitchen that boasts a giant boomerang of a countertop. Despite its YMCA master bathroom and fondness for carpeting, the home generally succeeds in hiding its 1980s-ness (though the patio area sort of harkens an Alf-era public pool). That the home has only two bedrooms seems incorrect, but multiple listing sites echo that information. Anyhow, the chariot sculpture out front is killer.
