The Central Perimeter area beat out Buckhead, Midtown and Downtown to take the top spot in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's rankings of top Atlanta real estate submarkets. The upcoming 2M-square-foot project featuring 500,000 square feet of office space for State Farm as well as 100,000 square feet of restaurants and retail certainly played a part in Perimeter's ranking. You know things are truly coming back around when a new football stadium, a street car, a civil rights museum and new offices for Coca-Cola aren't enough for Downtown to place higher than number four on the list.
