The nonprofit Chastain Park Conservancy is raising funds for what sounds like a jungle gym on steroids, a scaled back Ewok Village and an updated version of the dangerous (but awesome) playgrounds of the 1980s. The 40,000 square-foot playground would quadruple the aging equipment on site, offering "fairly adventurous" attractions like zip lines, racing slides, a treehouse and climbing materials.
