The apartment tower and retail mash-up that could replace a massive Midtown parking lot is moving forward, Bisnow reports. Wood Partners applied for development permits recently for 33 Peachtree Place, a 19-story tower with 343 apartments and about 19,000 square feet of base-level retail. The company first announced their intentions back in September. If executed, the project will rise on the wide asphalt sea near the Midtown MARTA station, joining two under-construction apartment towers for students around the corner on Spring Street.
