The details of this East Chastain Park mansion read like an opulent real-estate mogul's version of "The 12 Days of Christmas" — nine shiny bathrooms, seven spacious bedrooms, seven custom fireplaces, a four-car garage, three finished levels, two gourmet kitchens and a heated saltwater pool. Yet the 8,544-square-foot tudor on 0.46 acres next to the park has twice slashed its asking price by more than $100,000. Tax records indicate it was last sold in 2006 for $1.43 million. Last April, it was listed for $2.4 million. By August, the price had fallen $200,000 to $2.2 million. Over the weekend, it was discounted another $105,000. (A nearby new construction, which is more than 2,000 square feet smaller, was listed two months ago for $2.35 million, so the current price should be within the realm of possibility.) Is it finally a good buy for $2,090,000?
