Condo Craze

New, 3 comments

After launching a VIP program for prospective condo buyers last month, representatives of The Atlantic report that sales have been gangbusters, with more than 20 units claimed so far, including a penthouse that sold for $1.3 million. Homes at the 47-story Art Deco tower with a glowing crown (Atlantic Station's tallest building) range from 1,031 to 3,172 square feet, and officials are calling buyer interest "overwhelming." In a press release, The Marketing Directors president David Tufts enthused: "Amazing location, great price point and incredible features and amenities make The Atlantic unprecedented in a market that has no new product." We're no economists, but doesn't rabid demand summon more of what doesn't exist?
