In what would be an ironic twist, the Cobb Braves stadium could cost the county some 300 longstanding jobs. Genuine Parts Co. has been headquartered next to the stadium site since 1979, but they don't sound too keen on being neighbors with an MLB franchise. One official at the Fortune 500 company told the Saporta Report: "(The stadium is) going to be a problem for us. They are going to be building a lot of parking right across the street … There's going to be a lot of traffic in the afternoon when they're having ballgames." [SR]
