Developer Egbert Perry wants to convert the former General Motors plant in Doraville into a thriving hub like Atlanta's never seen. Perry told the Atlanta Business Chronicle the site "is not going to be another Atlantic Station" in that "it will be a true transit-oriented development," he said. Sounds like he's leaning more toward a new job center — a la The Central Perimeter or Cobb Galleria — than a retail district or the first ITP amusement park. [ABC; subscriber]
