First the city decided to sell Underground Atlanta, then the Civic Center. Now it looks like Cyclorama, the Civil War panorama in Grant Park, could be the next to go. Watching the city sell things to free up $20 million for next year's possible infrastructure bond referendum is like watching the part on "Hoarders" where the team comes in and forces the person to get rid of every last thing they don't absolutely need. In this case, the team is the Orwellian sounding "efficiency commission" and they have recommended that the cylindrical 358-foot painting be sold. Whether the city accepts the recommendation remains to be seen. [Creative Loafing]
