Building permits indicate that dusty plans for a large-scale apartment project next to Atlanta's swankiest mall could soon be revived, Bisnow reports. Equitable Life Assurance has filed for a permit to ramp up site work on a 320-unit project called "Phipps Plaza Lofts." The plans could mirror those proposed by Dallas-based Columbus Realty Trust two years ago, or the apartments could be part of this mixed-use project that's said to include a 164-room hotel and luxury storefront, too.
