PATH400's initial plan to build a 5.2-mile, $12 million multi-use trail seems like a breath of fresh air for the notoriously pedestrian-unfriendly, car-centric Buckhead. But its longer-term, unofficial dream to help connect everything from Chastain Park and beyond (Sandy Springs? Alpharetta? Nothing is off the table) to the Beltline is downright swoon-worthy. Conceived three years ago, the project is a partnership between the Buckhead Community Improvement District, Livable Buckhead and the PATH Foundation. Curbed Atlanta took a walk through the construction today and talked with planners about where it could be going in the future.
