Georgia's technology industry is going gangbusters, according to the Technology Association of Georgia's 2014 State of the Industry Report, which indicates that the state's job growth in that sector is outpacing the national average for the third year running. With more than 5,000 new jobs created last year alone and an average salary of $83,183 (higher than before the recession), technology is now Georgia's highest paying sector. Those who like stats and/or technology will find hours of delightful and encouraging figures in the extensive report; those who don't can drop the mic and click elsewhere, secure in the knowledge that your state is just killin' it with the tech jobs.
