Let's hope that's not what MARTA will turn into if it decides to go through with its idea of selling naming rights to stations. Getting aggressive about raising funds for the agency is a good thing, but there are lines that shouldn't be crossed. MARTA is looking to award a five- to seven-year contract to an ad agency, which could have the opportunity to use new strategies such as alcohol ads and branded stations. [Atlanta Business Chronicle.
