Any expert will tell you that the key to real estate is to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run. Country music legend Kenny Rogers is walking away from his 11,964-square-foot Mediterranean estate in Sandy Springs, but the gambler's loss could be your win (this metaphor is falling apart) if you've got $4.8 million and a love of closet chandeliers and 30-foot ceilings. Inside the six-bedroom, eight full/four half-bathroom home, buyers will find 10 fireplaces, an elevator, a home theater with cloud-pattern ceiling, a large solarium and a Roman spa complete with ridiculous wrap-around mural and enormous clamshell. Outside, the pool is enhanced with a swim-up bar and cabana and dramatic stairs swoop down from the perfectly manicured golf-grass lawn to a basketball court. (There is no stream in which to put islands with Dolly Parton, but you can't have it all.) Kenny bought the 1.4 acre estate in 2012 for $1.5 million, though it sold in 2002 and 2005 for more than $4 million.
