This fairly stunning Westside Provisions penthouse popped on the market last month and slashed its price by $90,000 within a few hours, according to property records. This is a seller's market, sure, but that's impatience! And it's a bit puzzling for a huge, 2,378-square-foot home with three bedrooms and so much else going for it, including unparalleled views for this side of town. A larger penthouse here has had selling issues for years, despite a tax abatement that lasts through 2022 and the building's connection to Westside Urban Market. The penthouse in question is now asking $785,000, after it sold for $620,000 about two years ago, when Atlanta property was generally cheaper. To nitpick, there's no range hood, which some buyers at this price point could find downright appalling. But customized perks abound, from all the closets, to the automated shades, upgraded lights and electronics and bedroom carpeting. The kitchen has Caesarstone and pro-grade appliances, and the den boasts a murphy bed, an unusual but handy touch. The amenities level even has palm trees, which (to nitpick) atones for the appalling drop-ceilings in the gym. (Gag noise).
