Construction, Sales Rolling at Luxe North Ave. Townhomes

New, 15 comments

Construction is humming along on another helping of Beltline-area townhomes. The 12-unit Poncey-Highland project known as SkyHill is rising at the corner of North and Bonaventure avenues. Skyhill broke ground in December — after having been pitched for years — and significant progress has been made in recent weeks. On Wednesday, workers pounded away well after normal dinner-whistle hours, putting the finishes touches on what appeared to be the frames of both modernistic buildings planned for the property. The timeline is still a little vague, but Beth Fore of developer Cablik Enterprises said the company is "anticipating closing on six of the 12 units in 2014." Listings asks $550,000 for one under-construction unit that's pending sale, which is hardly a head-scratcher: The property is a short walk to the Beltline, Ponce City Market and Historic Fourth Ward Park (not to mention the Masquerade), and comes with a two-car garage, a rooftop terrace and skyline views from "one of the highest elevations in intown Atlanta."
