Population Situation

New stats from the Atlanta Regional Commission suggest that boom times could be here again for metro ATL, the seventh-fastest growing region in the country. Since the Recession petered out in 2010, the metro has packed on more than 164,000 residents — nearly a third of them in the single year ending in April. Interestingly, Fulton County added the most people last year (12,700), which could help explain all the recent Saturday traffic jams. [AJC]
