Glimpses: Buckhead's Super-Massive 'Camden Paces' Project

New, 8 comments

The Camden Paces project, while massive, has managed to stay under-the-radar for many Atlanta development watchers. So consider this Visual Journey a sneak peek (we asked officials for a more intimate photo tour but didn't hear back.) Three years ago, Camden Property Trust bought the 1970s apartment complex on this land and wiped the slate clean. The 20-acre complex will be home to 379 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and rental townhomes that front East Andrews Drive, just north of the Buckhead Village. Signage at the site brags: "Atlanta's Finest Apartment Homes Coming Soon." Indeed, the first townhome residents began moving in this month. But the finest in the land?

With 379 residences, the $110 million Camden Paces is among the largest new residential offerings in the city (for context, SkyHouse Buckhead has 364 units, Cyan on Peachtree 329). The community's website gives no rental rate information, but the range of options is greater than many new complexes. Square footages range from around 800 with the one-bedrooms to a massive 2,500 with the three-bedrooms. Amenities include "spectacular swimming pools" with a "sun shelf," a cross-training center and requisite "paw spa."
