Growth Spurts

The property gobblers at HomeVesters have stitched together Google Earth and historical aerial photography to show how some of America's fastest growing markets — Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, etc. — have transformed since the 1980s. ATL's extensive tree canopy makes the effect less dramatic than other cities, but it's still fascinating. By their count, nearly 600,000 houses sprouted across metro Atlanta between 1990 and 2004 alone. [HV]
