Batch of Briarcliff Townhomes Seeks at Least $1/2 Million

New, 2 comments

Seems like yesterday everyone was complaining about the dearth of new townhome options in Atlanta. Here's another crop of shared-walls residences to quiet those qualms — the Virginia Park townhomes, described by the agent as "Three levels of awesomeness!" Lovers of brick need look no more, that's for sure. Hugged by Virginia-Highland and Druid Hills, this cluster of 40 homes sits on traffic-plagued Briarcliff Road, just north of Ponce. Looks like they'll have two floor-plan options — the aptly named "Atkins" and "Emory" — offering identical square footages (2,400, plus 200 bonus square feet outdoors), bedrooms (3) and bathrooms (3.5). Getting in the door will cost at least $509,000, but the builder's "luxury" claim could be valid. Note the his-and-her walk-in closets with built-ins (a regular hyphen bonanza!), spa-style master bathroom and marble kitchen. One bummer: no pool. Another, subjectively speaking: "decorative iron picket railings." And another: "two-piece crown molding."
