Metro Atlanta's single-family home prices have shot up more than 10 percent since July 2013, according to a widely watched report issued today. The price hike in Atlanta — a number that includes distressed properties — was the fourth-largest increase in the country, the research firm CoreLogic found. Experts forecast that home prices will rise more than 5 percent in the next year, too. [AJC]
