According to multiple tipsters, the Atlanta Business Chronicle and at least one local blog thread, a Fortune 500 company will uproot from Duluth and build new headquarters on Spring Street in Midtown, a hotbed of young educated workers and high-rise construction. Technology company NCR Corp. relocated from Ohio to Gwinnett County in 2009, and now they're reportedly hankering to be where the action is. Rumor has it that NCR will consolidate its world headquarters campus to a four-acre plot next to the new Centergy tower in Midtown, with plans of moving in by 2018. Last year, the company climbed to No. 423 on the Fortune 500 list.
