The "incredible investment activity" happening downtown has forced some its chief boosters — the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District's Ambassador Force and Clean Team — to relocate from the pie-shaped Olympia Building (where a super-sized Walgreens is under construction) to 34 Peachtree St., officials said. ADID's new 8,200-square-foot headquarters will occupy the first floor and lobby level of the Peachtree building, located one block north of Five Points. According to one official, in 2014 alone, 17 downtown projects were under construction or completed, valued at more than $337 million; for context, that's a little more than the cost of Ponce City Market's years-long redo.
