Resurgens Part II

This week, an ESPN article notes the resurgence of Atlanta's oft-overlooked, Tinder-loving basketball team, and how the Hawks' charge toward respectability, in some ways, mirrors that of the city itself. In terms of national reputation, the ATL is atoning for corrupt mayors, lackluster Olympic games and embarrassing snowpocalypses with acclaimed restaurants, the Beltline and potential game-changers like Ponce City Market and the streetcar. "So now, just as the Hawks are finally finding their wings," the homegrown writer posits, "it's doubly satisfying to see that Atlanta is making progressive moves worthy of its longtime moniker, 'Capital of the South.'"
