WESTSIDELe Fat, the Colonial Vietnamese concept from Miso Izakaya's Guy Wong, is finally close to opening. Wong is targeting mid-February to begin service, and he shares some details on the restaurant's cuisine and decor.

DECATUR — Top Chef alum and Gunshow proprietor Kevin Gillespie is working on his second Atlanta-area restaurant. Revival, Gillespie's take on a family-style meat-and-three, is scheduled to take over the former Harbour House Pub space in early June. It's exciting news, but it does mean Gillespie's efforts to open a brick-and-mortar location for his Terminus City barbecue are on hold.

OLD FOURTH WARD — Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Edgewood Pizza is back in business. The pizzeria had been closed since an August 2013 electrical fire, but it is now fully operational, serving up king slices, and keeping the lights on until the wee hours on the weekend.
