Pigging Out

New, 1 comment

In two weeks the Decatur City Commission will vote on whether to allow residents to keep pygmy goats and pot-bellied pigs, animals that some have argued flaunt the line between permitted pets and banned livestock, reports Decatur Metro. While far from allowing the full menagerie, the move could mean Decatur will soon have a little more Farmville flavor. Specifics on weight restrictions and other details are pending, but it seems residents with clandestine livestock will soon be allowed to let them frolic outside, two at a time. Yee-hah!
